Look who we ran into at the Bangkok Airport! He was on our flight Bangkok to Tokyo. I didn't bother him, but chose to stalk him from afar (like, three rows away) instead. I always thought he was a great actor, but now that I know he plays a Martin I'll be a true blue long term fan.

Air Conditioned Hideout

We went to the mall in Phuket Central to hide out for an afternoon of sunburn recovery. There were two movies playing in the first class section of the theatre. We chose ‘When In Rome’. A couple of days later I was in Friendly Massage in Kata chatting with a couple who’d just arrived about what there was to do here. When I mentioned the theatre they asked me if anything current was playing. I said ‘Fairly current, there’s When in Rome and a movie called Green Zone’. They laughed and smiled at each other. She pointed to her husband and said ‘He’s in it!’. We’ll have to watch it now and see if we recognize him. Didn’t think to ask his name. It’ll be interesting to see if he’s wildly famous or if we have a hard time spotting him in the background. Could be either. Either way, they were super nice.

Here’s a little snippet of the resort we’re staying in. Our friends Ken and Janine did a longer rental here and had their kids all come and stay with their spouses for a couple of weeks each. We snuck in after the last set left. Good thing for us they have three kids, not four! It’s been such a great time. Thanks Ken and Janine!
